The use of Dynamic coupon can be a powerful way to insentivise the users to spend more on your website.
In this article, you will find out how you can place them in the different types of Marketing channels Releva has to offer through the use of Merge tags.
Emails #
Once you have created the rest of the email and its text, click on a text area which will reveal the Formatting bar on top and on its right side you will find the Merge tags drop-down.
Click on it and scroll down until you find the Dynamic coupon you would like to use and click on it. If you are unsure, you are about to click the correct one, simply hover your mouse over the option which will give you a flavour text with the full name.

The end result should look like that with the Merge Tag for the Dynamic coupon placed where your cursor was:

Push Notifications #
Push notifications are a great way to send out Dynamic coupons to your user base. To get started, open a Push notification you would like to use for the Dynamic coupon and while being at the Content tab, click on the Merge Tags button located on the right side of the Body field:

From the expanded menu, locate the Dynamic coupon of your choice (usually located at the bottom) and copy its Merge tag (selected on the below image):

Then, place it inside the Body of the Push notification and the end result should look like the image below:

With the Merge tag added, finish off the Push notification as you see fit.
Make sure to send yourself a test push notification to validate that the Merge code is translated into a Promotional code before you place it into an automation Workflow.
Text Messages (SMS) #
Even though it might be a bit old-fashioned nowadays, SMS still plays a big role in our day-to-day communications which is why this is another way you would be able to send out Dynamic coupons to your users.
First, open and prepare the SMS Message, then click on the Merge Tags button located on the right side of the Message field:

From the expanded menu, locate the Dynamic coupon of your choice (usually located at the bottom) and copy its Merge tag (selected on the below image):

Then, place it inside the Body of the Push notification and the end result should look like the image below:

Viber messages #
Another great way to (depending on the market) is the use of Viber messages as they can be rich and contain a lot more information and data then SMS, so let’s dive in!
First, open and prepare the Viber Message, where the first step would be to select the Mode so let’s check both of them separately alongside their individual advantages:
Text mode #
Text mode is the closest it can get to the SMS experience – simply send a text and a shortened URL. Now, click on the Merge Tags button located on the right side of the Message field:

From the expanded menu, locate the Dynamic coupon of your choice (usually located at the bottom) and copy its Merge tag (selected on the below image):

Then, place it inside the Body of the Viber message and the end result should look like the image below:

Multimedia mode #
This mode will allow you a lot more flexibility and customization with the use of button, text and an image. Now, click on the Merge Tags button located on the right side of the Message field:

From the expanded menu, locate the Dynamic coupon of your choice (usually located at the bottom) and copy its Merge tag (selected on the below image):

Then, place it inside the Body of the Viber message and the end result should look like the image below:

With the Merge tag added, finish off the Viber message as you see fit.
