The client

The emails were fine. The data under them was not.

A direct-to-consumer womenswear brand from Singapore, on Shopify, selling into Southeast Asia, the US and Australia. Email ran on Klaviyo and paid acquisition almost entirely on Meta. New customers had halved year on year, so existing customers were the way to grow.

Its abandoned-browse flow sent 1,077 emails in a month and brought 16 purchases. Browser tracking missed most sessions, so most shoppers never entered the flow, and every email showed the same products.

What the agent did

Same flow, same store, more shoppers reached

1

Every session captured

Server-side and first-party, so the same trigger reached about three times the shoppers, including visitors who had not left an email.

2

A choice inside every email

Next basket, best buys or “others who viewed also bought”, picked per person and per send from their own behavior and orders.

3

The same agent on the site

From 23 June 2026, recommendations on product pages and the home page, decided per visitor and per page.

No added discounts. The brand confirmed it.

The same abandoned-browse flow, a matched month

Klaviyo figures from the brand's own export. Releva figures 18 June to 17 July 2026. A matched period, not a controlled test.

Open rate 66.2% and click rate 7.1%, against Klaviyo's published browse-abandonment benchmarks of 38.9% and 4.9%. Unsubscribes 0.28%, no spam complaints. Two Releva flows, abandoned browse and win-back, went on to out-earn the brand's whole earlier email program, abandoned cart included. In a one-week controlled A/B test, both sent through Releva, the agent's picks earned 96% more per email than a copy of Klaviyo's logic.

On the site

The 3.8% who clicked a recommendation brought 29% of revenue

First 25 days from 23 June 2026: 378,832 recommendations shown and 8.6% clicked. Visitors who clicked bought at 0.89%, against 0.11% for those who did not.

Against the 16 days before launch, purchases per day rose from 31 to 42. That is recommendations and email together, not a controlled result.

How we counted

Orders counted once. Every figure is a completed Shopify checkout joined to what the shopper did. No ad platform's attribution is used.

Matched month, not a controlled test. The email comparison sets a full Klaviyo month against 30 days on Releva, on the same flow and store, with no added discounts.

Self-selection. Buyers chose to click recommendations, so part of the repeat gap is intent. It held in every monthly cohort, so selection alone does not explain it.
