Autonomous sales agent
An autonomous sales agent is software that does what your best salesperson would, for every visitor at once. It learns your products, your business and each shopper, shows the right products, answers questions and follows up until they buy, without a person running it.
What it means
The word autonomous is the point. A campaign tool waits for a marketer to build a flow, pick a segment and press send. A sales agent decides on its own, per visitor, what to show on the page, what to answer in chat and which message to send, and it keeps learning from what each visitor does next. The merchant sets the goal: quick sales, bigger baskets or long-term customer value. The agent works toward that goal everywhere it acts.
Why it matters for a store
Most stores run five tools for five jobs: ads, email, search, chat and personalization. Each one bills separately and none of them shares what it learns. An agent runs the jobs on one memory, so what search learns about a shopper also shapes her email and the ad audience she lands in. For a small team that means no campaign calendar to keep and no flows to rebuild every season.
An example
A halal food store in Bulgaria handed its email, push, recommendations and pop-ups to the agent in July 2026. By October it had sent no campaign by hand for three months, and 47.5% of its revenue went through the agent, as its own order data shows on our case studies page.
How the agent uses it
This is what Releva is. The sales agent sells on the site and in the app, retention brings customers back, and ads audiences tell Meta, Google and TikTok who to find, all from one profile per shopper. How it decides explains the goal and the holdout that proves the lift.
